Pixlumo app privacy
This policy explains how Pixlumo handles information when you use the Pixlumo mobile app, Pixlumo web services, and connected Pixlumo desk displays.
Last updated: May 1, 2026
1. Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide the app, connect your display, and support the features you choose to use.
- Account information, such as your email address, authentication identifiers, and account status.
- Device information, such as paired Pixlumo display IDs, device names, app settings, desk layout choices, schedules, and display preferences.
- Content you provide, such as uploaded wallpapers, selected apps, custom text, configuration values, and support messages.
- Location information when you choose location-based features, such as local weather, nearby transport, or nearby aircraft features.
- Integration information when you connect optional services, such as calendar, music, sports, fitness, or communication integrations.
- Technical information, such as app version, device type, diagnostics, request logs, IP address, and basic network metadata.
2. How we use information
- To create and secure your account.
- To pair, configure, update, and control your Pixlumo display.
- To save and sync wallpapers, clock settings, app choices, and desk settings.
- To provide live data features such as weather, transit, sports, market, flight, and calendar information.
- To process optional integrations that you connect and disconnect.
- To troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
- To send service messages related to your account, device, or important product changes.
3. Photos, wallpapers, and uploaded content
If you upload a wallpaper or image, we process that file so it can be shown on your Pixlumo display and managed from the app. We do not use your uploaded wallpapers for advertising.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to any image or content you upload to Pixlumo.
4. Location data
Pixlumo only uses location for features you enable or request, such as local weather, nearby aircraft, nearby transport, or other location-aware desk apps. You can change location permissions in your device settings.
Some location-based features may require sending location coordinates or a selected place to our servers or third-party data providers so the requested data can be returned.
5. Optional third-party integrations
Pixlumo may let you connect third-party services such as Spotify, Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams, Strava, sports data providers, transit providers, weather providers, aviation data providers, or market data providers.
When you connect an integration, Pixlumo uses the information authorized by that service to show the selected feature on your display. You can disconnect integrations where the app provides that option, and you may also be able to revoke access through the third-party provider.
6. Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to operate Pixlumo, including:
- With service providers that host, secure, authenticate, store, analyze, or deliver Pixlumo services.
- With third-party data providers when needed to return the live data feature you requested.
- With connected integrations that you authorize.
- When required by law, legal process, security, fraud prevention, or to protect rights and safety.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Pixlumo, maintain your account and display settings, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and support product reliability.
Some logs and backup records may remain for a limited period after deletion because of security, backup, or operational requirements.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can update many settings directly in the Pixlumo app.
- You can change app permissions, including location and photo permissions, in your device settings.
- You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information where applicable law provides those rights.
- You can contact us to request account deletion or help with privacy choices.

11. International use
Pixlumo may process information in countries other than where you live. When we transfer information, we use safeguards required by applicable law where those laws apply.
